Marvs Place

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the web! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Marv and I'm known as "Mr Marv" on several car audio forums. I am a cabinetmaker by trade and a car audio nut by choice :). In my spare time I install systems for friends, build custom subwoofer enclosures, speaker baffles, amp racks and anything else that can be made of wood for car audio systems. I also build custom home theater speaker cabinets, sub enclosures and equipment cabinets/racks using a variety of materials including real wood veneered MDF, Baltic Birch plywood, veneer core cabinet grade plywood, solid wood etc. If you would like to contact me about anything you see (or don't see ) here, please email me at MarvsPlace@webtv.net and I will help you in any way I can. BTW, I have gone international! Items built by me have been shipped to Canada, Japan and all over Europe! Thanks for stopping by and come back again as I am adding more as often as I can.

Elemental Designs/Mr Marv Holiday Giveaway 2003-E12K w/Slot Ported Enclosure won by "Pebert" at ECA! :)

In an effort to promote helping others who may not be as fortunate during the holidays, Elite Car Audio was kind enough to allow us to have a charity raffle on their forum. Entrants had to pledge goods, money or time to their favorite charity in order to enter. Based on the number of pledges and entrants, I think we succeded in making the holidays a bit brighter for a lot of people!

The E12K was donated by the great guys at Elemental Designs and I donated the Custom Built Slot Ported Enclosure.

Thanks to ECA, Elemental Designs and all of the entrants that pledged to make it a brighter holiday season!

I couldn't host a BBQ for my fellow car audio fanatics without having something to show off myself :) so I spent a few late nights creating this enclosure for my JL Audio 10W7. It is 1.34ft^3 gross sealed, the front is black formica and I will probably paint the rest black.
